Outcome Codes

To be selected within an Appointment in the Appointment Schedule, an Outcome code is attached to an Appointment Reason. Outcome Codes are used to track the results of various appointment types. This way, information regarding appointment results can be reviewed. For example, for the appointment reason "Hearing Test", the outcome code choices could be "Hearing OK - Follow Up 2 years" or "Hearing Aid Req'd - Waiting for Insurance Decision" or "Hearing Aid purchased.")

 

Click ADD to add new appointment Outcome Codes. Edits can be made to existing Outcome Codes using CHANGE or DELETE.

 

The screen prompts are:

 

OUTCOME CODE: Assign a brief outcome description (code).

 

OUTCOME RATING: If using the REPORTS AND INQUIRIES > GENERAL > Specialist Productivity Report assign a OUTCOME RATING of "Success", "Fail" or "Not Applicable" to any Outcome Code. An OUTCOME CODES setting for OUTCOME RATING can also be utilized on the REPORTS AND INQUIRIES > MARKETING AND CRM > Appointment Booking Report.

 

INACTIVE: Checking the inactive flag will prevent this value from being shown in respective drop-down lists.
