Clinics can group their APPOINTMENT RESOURCES by APPOINTMENT TYPES. For example each APPOINTMENT RESOURCE that is a "sound booth" can be grouped to a RESOURCE TYPE such as "audio metric equipment" This simplifies the APPOINTMENT REASON configuration to specify which appointment reasons need a resource type of "audio metric equipment" instead of listing each sound booth individually for every APPOINTMENT REASON.

 

Click ADD to add new a RESOURCE TYPE. Edits can be made to existing an RESOURCE TYPE using CHANGE or DELETE.

 

The screen prompts are:

 

RESOURCE TYPE - Enter a description for the resource type.

 

INACTIVE - To inactivate a resource type, click the box for INACTIVE. This will prevent this resource type from being selectable in the future.

 

Click SAVE to store changes. Click EXIT to close the window.
