The AUTOMATIC ATTACHMENT IMPORT is a utility is designed to allow clinics to load XML files from a designated folder with patient or lead attachment details handy for bulk importing of patient attachment files and details.
The XML file needs to contain data tags such as:
Document_Category (Attachment category to be assigned to the attachment)
Attachment_Description (Description associated to the attachment)
Patient_Lead_YN (When set to Y the “Patient_Number” will search applicable leads)
Patient_Number (The associated patient or lead number)
Date__yyyy_MM_DD (The date for the attachment)
Time_HH_mm_ss (The time stamp on the attachment)
Format (The file extension of the associated attachment)
File_To_Attach (The filename of the attachment which does not include the file path)
Folder (The folder defined in the IMPORT DIRECTORY or where the attachments are located)
FTP (Used to define a directory where the attachment files will be downloaded from)
The screen prompts are:
IMPORT DIRECTORY - Refers to the location you wish to load your Attachments from. Manage the path file for this import directory with the FOLDER icon at the top.
DOWNLOAD FROM FTP - When checked it allows users the opportunity to download the details from the FTP sure before processing the import directory. All XML files will be downloaded as well as their associated attachment and files will be saved into the defined import directory. Any errors on XML files will be saved into the newly created FTP_ERRORS folder in the defined import directory.
When ready press CONTINUE. This will start the process of the system reading the defined import directory for XML files and their relating attachment information and all success attachments will be removed from the import directory and placed in a newly created folder called PROCESSED.
