This option allows users to update & add hearing aids to the system based on the imported manufacturer catalogues imported during the previous steps. New hearing aids will be added to your system and existing hearing aids will be updated. All related codes/prices will be updated (e.g. WSIB, AVDP VAC).
The screen prompts are:
MANUFACTURER:
Select the desired manufacturer from the drop-down list. Only those catalogues that have been imported will be visible in the drop-down list.
ADD NEW PRODUCTS TO CATEGORY:
Select the appropriate product category from the drop-down list. New hearing aids will be added to this product category.
CONTINUE will start the update procedure. Users will be asked for confirmation before it begins.
When updating a product catalogue, only products with exact matching product descriptions will be updated. The catalogue update will edit:
1) Style and Model name (only on brand new products)
2) AVDP Catalogue Number (if new or edited)
3) The standard private pay price
4) The DVA Left and Right codes
5) The DVA price
6) The WSIB code
7) The WSIB price
