Manage has automated SMS (texting) notifications that can be sent out configured around appointments, recalls or sent directly from the PATIENT INFORMATION screen.
To use SMS notifications, you must:
1) Set up an account with Kapow at:

2) Once the Kapow account is set up, purchase the desired number of credits. One credit is good for sending on SMS message. The pricing is as follows*:

3) Clinics can choose to sign up for a "FROM ID" which is a static number associated to your business for a one time charge of approximately $26 AUD. A "FROM ID" identifies the SMS sender as your company name or your own clinic number. A "FROM ID" is not mandatory, but it may be of interest. If you do not purchase a "FROM ID" the message will simply show up on your patient's phone with a random number.
Once the Clinics Kapow account has been set up, users can go to Patient Notifications to configure the specifics on what the SMS text message is to say and when it is to be sent.
