Users can maintain a database of referral sources to track marketing initiatives and sales information. At the company level, recording referral information on patient files and/or sales can be enforced as mandatory.
To add a new referral source, click the ADD icon.
The screen prompts are:
REFERRAL SOURCE - Enter a referral source name (examples of Referral Sources are YELLOW PAGES/ WEBSITE/ PATIENT REFERRAL/ JULY FLYER etc).
REFERRAL CATEGORY - If you have configured Referral Categories (CONFIGURE SYSTEM SETTINGS > PATIENT > REFERRAL CATEGORIES) then from the drop down list, select the applicable Referral Category to which this Referral Source belongs.
REFERRAL TYPE - If you have configured Referral Categories (CONFIGURE SYSTEM SETTINGS > PATIENT > REFERRAL CATEGORIES) then from the drop down list, select the applicable Referral Type to which this Referral Source belongs.
START DATE - If you wish to only have this referral source available for selection starting a specific date, enter the specific start date here.
END DATE - If you wish to only have this referral source available for selection until a specific date, enter the ending date here.
INACTIVE - To inactivate this Referral Source, check the INACTIVE box. This will prevent the Referral Source from appearing in Referral Source selection windows.
To view or edit an existing referral source, click CHANGE.
Click SAVE to save any changes.
Click EXIT to close the window.
