Products can be associated to a "Product Family." This way when searching for products within a specific Product Family, the search results will only show the applicable products.
To create the Product Families that can be later assigned to a Product within PRODUCT INFORMATION, click ADD and enter each of the Product Family descriptions. To edit an existing Product Family, click CHANGE. To delete an existing Product Family, click DELETE.
To inactivate a Product Family, check INACTIVE to the right of the Product Family.
Click SAVE to store changes. Click EXIT to close the window.
Active Product Families shown here can now be assigned to any product in PRODUCT INFORMATION.
