The Serial Number Discrepancy Report was designed to show users which products currently have discrepancies between the quantity on hand and the actual serial numbers entered into Manage. The Serial Number Discrepancy Report can be run by location or for all locations.
After selecting either ALL locations or a specific location, press CONTINUE to run the Serial Number Discrepancy Report.
The report shows (by location) only the products that currently have a discrepancy between the quantity on hand and the serial numbers actually in stock.
A discrepancy can be caused by manual adjustments to the quantity field on the product file or by adjusting the quantity on a serialized item in the "Update Inventory Count Sheets" to zero.
A discrepancy can be corrected by manually adjusting the QUANTITY amount by location in the INVENTORY menu under PRODUCT INFORMATION for each individual product.
