The RECEIVE INVENTORY TRANSFERS is a utility used to "close" a 2-Step Inventory Transfer. A location would run this utility when inventory arrives at their location. The inventory being received should arrive with a packing slip which references the Transfer Number.
Enter or search for the Transfer Number being received. You can also search for CLOSED transfers that have already been received.
This selection window will default from ALL locations to the user's default location. Location receiving selection is based on the user's location permissions.
Once the Transfer Number has been received, the details of the transfer will appear.
A list of the products that are waiting to be received will appear. To receive a product, simply click the RCV box at the end of each line. If receiving a non-serialized product, you can edit the quantity of the product to complete a partial receiving.
If receiving a partial Inventory Transfer, the transfer will be still considered OPEN. When all items on the Transfer Number have been received, the transfer will be considered CLOSED.
