QuickBooks integration overview:
Manage can export .iif files containing accounting postings that can then be imported separately into QuickBooks. It is essentially a text file that is formatted for QuickBooks that contains the debits and credits associated to Manage accounting postings within a given period. The entries imported into QuickBooks will be in summary format. Details regarding specific patient accounts receivable and specific sales will be viewable only within Manage.
Our QuickBooks accounting feeds work best with companies that use the Accrual accounting method. Those companies using a Cash accounting method may choose not to use Manage accounting feeds and instead perform manual journal entries in their QuickBooks, based on reported cash received from sales. The PC that houses QuickBooks must have the Windows date format set to MM/DD/YY otherwise the file exported from Manage will not be readable by QuickBooks.
