A Patient Status Code is selected on Patient Information files and Patient Lead Information files to determine whether a patient or lead is active. Manage is pre-loaded with 4 different Patient Status Codes. Administrators get to choose which of the available Patient Status Codes are to be considered "Active" and further allocation Reasons to each Patient Status Code. (For example, if "Inactive" is chosen reasons such as "No Hearing Loss" or "Chose Another Provider" which can be tracked and reported on separately.)
If you require additional Patient Status Codes then was is pre-loaded, then you will need to contact your Simply Hearing Representative for assistance.
The screen prompts are:
STATUS - This is the name or description of the status.
ACTIVE PATIENT - Indicate with a check box whether this status is to be considered as an "active" patient or lead.
REASON REQUIRED - Indicate with a check box whether this status selection will require a subsequent "reason" to also be selected.
REASONS - Click into the ... box to add reasons that can be selected when this status is selected. If "Reason Required" is also selected then selecting a reason will be mandatory for the user.
Click SAVE to store changes.
Click EXIT to close the window.
