Manage is pre-loaded with a variety of hearing loss degrees that can be selected for a Patient Information file.
Users can add or delete degrees of hearing loss as required. If you set up MAINTAIN DEGREES OF HEARING LOSS here with specific dB ranges, AND have a saved audiogram for a patient, the hearing loss for LEFT and RIGHT fields will auto populate based on the most recent audiogram results into the PATIENT INFORMATION main DETAILS screen.
To add a new degree of hearing loss, click ADD (examples of Hearing Loss are Mild/Moderate/Severe/Tinnitus etc).
To edit or change a degree of hearing loss, press CHANGE and highlight the line to edit, and make your changes.
To delete a degree of hearing loss, select the sequence line of the item to delete and press DELETE icon.
The INACTIVE box allows users to indicate that a Degree of Loss is no longer applicable or can no longer be selectedon the patient file.
The "From dB" and "To dB" allows users to specify a dB range for each type of loss identified. The dB range must be valid (for example, the ranges cannot overlap another degree of loss and the "from" must be less than the "to").
Click SAVE to store changes.
Click EXIT to close the window.
