Aged A/R Report

The AGED A/R REPORT option recreates the customer account status as of a selected cut-off date. It reconstructs the account using payment and deposit history.  It accurately identifies the exact invoices that were paid. The report lists each patient and third party with amounts owed as of the cut-off date in five aging categories:

Current                31-60 days        61-90 days        91-120 days        Over 120 days

 

The screen prompts are:

 

ALL REGIONS - When this box is checked, the description “ALL REGIONS” will display. Individual regions can not be selected when this is checked. If your user id is not set up with multiple region access, this field will be disabled.

REGION CODE - From the drop-down list, select the region for which you wish to run this report. If your user id is not set up with multi-region access, this field will be disabled.

ALL LOCATIONS - When this box is checked, the description “ALL LOCATIONS” will display. Individual locations can not be selected when this is checked. (Location permissions are based on the Application User set up.)

LOCATION - From the drop-down list, select the location for which you wish to run the report. (Access to locations is based on your Application User settings and the Document Parameter settings in Clinic Information.)

PRINT BY LOCATION  - Check this box to print the report, grouped by location.

CUT-OFF DATE - This date determines the ending point for selecting invoices. The cut-off date applies to the invoice date. Press enter to set the cut-off date to today's date. (Note: Invoices and Deposits dated after the cut-off date will not be included in the report totals.)

AGE AS OF _____ - When this box is checked, invoices are aged according to the month end. When unchecked, invoices are aged according to the system date.

FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER - Enter a starting account number for the record selection. Click the search button  button to search for a specific ending patient or third party account. Leave this field blank to search from the beginning of the account file.

TO ACCOUNT NUMBER - Enter an ending account number for the record selection. Click the search button button to search for a specific ending patient or third party account. Leave this field blank to search to the end of the account file.

REPORT OPTIONS - From the available options, select whether you prefer the report to be printed or exported directly to Microsoft Excel. (The Excel output will show an UNDELIVERED INVOICES COLUMN if the Clinic Parameter has been set to PREVENT AGING OF NON-DELIVERED INVOICES. This Excel version of the report also shows the CURRENT, 31-60, 61 - 90, over 90 days accounts receivable balances for easy review and spreadsheet manipulation.)

REPORT TYPE - From the available options, select whether you prefer the report printed in SUMMARY or DETAIL. When exporting to Microsoft Excel, this field will be disabled.

 

(NOTE: Australian users will also have the opportunity to run this Aged A/R Report on various HSP Claim Options.)

 
Click CONTINUE to run the report using the selected criteria.

Click EXIT to close the window.
